2023 Singapore-China Forum on Healthy Ageing and Urban Sustainability and China-ASEAN Belt and Road National Healthy Longevity Science Conference

In 2022, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine and the National University of Singapore, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine collaboratively organised the inaugural ‘China-Singapore Forum on Urban Population and Health Research’. The event had garnered positive reactions and exceptional feedback from scholars and researchers from China, Singapore and other nations in Southeast Asia. Building on this foundation, the Society of Behavioural Health Singapore is pleased to co-organise, with Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine and the National University of Singapore, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, the second academic conference in 2023.

The 2023 Singapore-China Forum on Healthy Ageing and Urban Sustainability and China-ASEAN Belt and Road National Healthy Longevity Science Conference will be held on 7-9 November 2023 in Singapore at the Nanyang Institute of Management

This conference will bring together researchers specialising in the ageing and related research from Singapore, China, and other ASEAN nations to elevate research capabilities and foster academic exchanges and collaboration between Singapore and China, as well as between China and ASEAN nations.

Sessions will explore the following topics emphasising cutting-edge theories and the latest technological advancements:

• Population ageing

• Healthy longevity

• Urban studies and sustainable development

Registration fees

* The conference registration fee is 500 Singapore dollars. It DOES NOT include all other traveling costs, such as airfare and hotel accommodation.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

The 2023 Singapore-China Forum on Healthy Ageing and Urban Sustainability and China-ASEAN Belt and Road National Healthy Longevity Science Conference invites the submission of abstracts for oral presentations. Please adhere to the instructions below for the submission of your abstract. 

REMINDERS

  1. Presenting author will be responsible to submit the abstract. 

  2. All presenting authors must be paid registrants of the 2023 Singapore-China Forum on Healthy Ageing and Urban Sustainability and China-ASEAN Belt and Road National Healthy Longevity Science Conference by 20 October 2023. After this date, presenting authors who have not paid their registration fees will be excluded from the program.

  3. The abstracts of authors will be scheduled and included in the Final Program.

  4. The Organising/Scientific Committee will review the abstracts. Following this, notification of acceptance will be sent to the presenter. 

  5. Submission of abstracts constitutes the authors’ consent to have their accepted abstracts to be presented during the Conference.

GUIDELINES AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

  1. All abstracts must be submitted and emailed to Ms. Jiayan WU (shiva1723@163.com) or Ms. Kaisy YE (kaisy.ye@nus.edu.sg) not later than 25 October 2023. Only abstracts submitted via the email will be accepted.

  2. Abstracts and presentations must be written in English.

  3. The abstract text is limited to 250-300 words. The abstract title, the author(s) or names of institutions are not included in the count of 250 words.
