Synopsis:
🤖 As artificial intelligence and robotics increasingly enter therapeutic and healthcare settings, critical questions arise around their psychological, behavioural, and ethical implications.
🌏 In this webinar, Dr Elizabeth Broadbent will explore current research on therapy robots and AI-driven interventions in behavioural medicine. Drawing on empirical findings and theoretical frameworks, she will examine how humans emotionally relate to robotic agents, the factors influencing acceptance and trust, and the therapeutic potential of embodied AI. Attendees will be invited to reflect on the boundaries between human and machine in care contexts and consider the opportunities and challenges of integrating AI into future models of psychological support and behavioural health interventions.
