Roundtable Discussion on 31 Jan 2026: Scaling Health Coaching and Building Health Literacy in APAC – Evidence, Ecosystems & Enablers

This roundtable discussion will be bringing together experts and practitioners from Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia and the wider region to explore how lifestyle medicine principles and coaching approaches can be integrated into everyday primary care practice. Lifestyle-related conditions account for much of the chronic disease burden as our population ages rapidly. As health systems across Asia move toward prevention and person-centred care, there is growing recognition that health coaching can be a key lever to translate lifestyle advice into sustainable behaviour change. Participants will discuss real-world health coaching models, digital innovations, workforce training, and policy enablers that support scaling lifestyle change across diverse healthcare settings.

The session aims to identify practical strategies for embedding health coaching within Healthier SG and similar frameworks in the region—building a culture of care that empowers individuals, strengthens primary care teams, and advances population health outcomes.

📌 Catch highlights from previous ASM here: 4TH ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC MEETING which saw us introducing a “Dialogue with Members” segment for members to learn from practitioners and exchange perspectives with one another in interactive small-group sessions.
